U.S.S. DISCOVERY - 1/60 SCALE - 2001

Discovery

The model represents the main spaceship from 2001: a Space Odyssey, the U.S.S. Discovery, on the way with his crew for Jupiter.

1,66 m in length, lighting of the cockpit, the bay and the pod 4 headlights, its complete construction in scratch lasted nearly 1000 hours distributed over 2 and a half years.

The model was part of the "2001, a Models Odyssey" exhibition in the "Mondial de la Maquette et du Modèle Réduit 2001", in the french "Air and Space Museum" in Paris, Le Bourget and in the Euro Space Camp.
